... und Service alles bisherige uebertraf wirklich.<br>Die Stadt war aufgrund der starken Regenfaelle in letzter Zeit leicht ueberflutet und man konnte nicht auf jeder Strasse gehen ohne nasse Fuesse zu bekommen, Die alte Stadt besichtigten wir dann mit einem Fahrrad. Wir genossen wirklich die friedliche, ruhige Atmosphere in dem Park mit den zahlreichen Tempeln.

The temples were sooo different that it was definitely worth seeing both, plus it helped break up the trip north to Chiang Mai.<br><br><br>

Okay, to be honest we didn't really need to cross this bridge to reach the final Wat, and, technically, I was the person who dubbed it the "bridge of death," but nevertheless it made for a hair raising ride, one which we are thankful to still be present. ... Our favorite of the Sukhothai temples was Wat Si Chum. This temple has a giant Buddha built into a tiny little space. The style of the whole thing is unlike a lot of the others, which might help to explain why we both liked it so much. By the end of the second day, I think even Tony, an avid temple and ruin enthusiast, was starting to get a little tired.
