... eingerichtet, dafuer gibt es keine Metro und kaum Busse. Bin dann noch zufaellig am Gold Souk vorbei gekommen. Hier gewinnt Dubai. Der Abu Dhabier Gold Souk ist eine billig-wirkende Mall voll mit Goldverkaeufern. Nebenan ist der/die/das Madinat Zayed. Auch wieder eine Mall. Jede Mall wird hier als Sehenswuerdigkeit deklariert! War aber nichts ...
Midnight at the Oasis
... fine - lavish fruit platter, chocolates, dates and wine is supplied (though who could look at any of this at 1 am is beyond me but the thought was there). Bini hopes we will be able to settle and give us her card so we can contact her if needed. Door closes, husband starts to laugh hysterically. All too much for him? no he has just looked at the calling card to see that Bini's second name sums it all up - "Panicker" !!!!!

The Best Chinese Food Ever out of China
... of the two that i have ever had that have even come close to the awesome that was China's. The mango duck was my favorite though with the sweet mango offsetting the duck flavor (clearly this is why I do not write food magazines...).

Da sind wir mal wieder.
Nachdem wir mit dem Bus von Dubai nach Abu Dhabi gefahren sind, haben
wir uns erstmal wieder mit dem Taxi ins Hotel fahren lassen. In diesem
waren aber trotz unserer Buchung alle Hotelzimmer belegt. Für das
gleiche Geld bekamen wir dann eben ein kleines Apartment mit Küche und
extra Wohnraum. Auch nicht schlecht! ;)
Am nächsten Tag waren wir vormittags Kamerazubehör shoppen. Nachmittags
ging es dann los zur ...
