Awoke early from another poor night's sleeper to due to party animals in the camp site. It was dark but the red streaks in the sky were foreboding and an indication of the coming weather change. The breathtaking panorama of rugged mountains surrounding Angorichina Village made me feel this indeed was my type of place and reminiscent of Morocco. A quick breakfast of muesli bar and strong coffee and packed up. We three were on the road by 7am, quick group photo of most of the ...

I’ve had such a lovely rest day in Adelaide. This place gets the ‘best’ rating yet; visiting with family is hard to beat! Thanks A&K for the cocoon of love I always feel in your home and for turning on the gorgeous weather! The sunset down on Grange Beach was fabulous… Sorry it was such a short visit – hope to be back later in the year. As part of my preparation for what turned out to be a good nights sleep on Sunday night in Coober Pedy I came across ...

On the way we stopped off at Hahndorf , the little German type village ...

Back home again now, catching up with my diary in the aircon. Tomorrow is forecast to be 40 degrees again so not sure what we will do, perhaps go back to Port Adelaide and try to find the part we missed today, or take a trip down to Henley Beach and this time take our swim suits. All the Australians will be back at work so it should be quieter and we should be able to find a shady patch to sit in. ...

... beaches in Adelaide; The Bay in Glenelg, Brighton Beach, Port Noarlunga and Christie Beach, which was the other side to Port Noarlunga with a cliff dividing the two. Port Noarlunga was my most favourite and most visited place in Adelaide, and with it only being a 15 minute drive away you can see why. The beach was nice to walk down with a treat of colourful layered rock and the mouth of the river Onkaparinga meeting the sea. This would be were I would start my day ...
