Adelaide at last! Yet another terrible day to tow a van. Better than Tuesday and Wednesday but still wet and windy. Sent a postcard to Dad from Coonalpyn. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to reach him. Checked into Mount Barker Caravan and Tourist Park. A very nice park only a few minutes walk from a wide range of shops and restaurants. ... the ranges. The road is not bad at all, and we have seen worse. But still we take it easy not overdoing it, happy of the new tyres that can still take a bit of wear without failing. And sure enough, halfway into the ranges we come across a Prado with a flat tyre needing to get the spare out. They just came from Arkaroola where we are heading. “Beautiful place” is the recommendation we get from them.
