Arive and spend day in Majorca Also known as Majorca, this Balearic island is a true Mediterranean paradise. It's deservedly famous for such natural wonders as its golden-sand beaches, tall pine groves and towering cliffs. The landscape is as varied as the northern mountains and the southern flatlands with their almond and olive groves. Among the many must-sees are a Gothic castle, a 13th century cathedral and the former palace of Mallorcan kings.
Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain and Canary Islands mercurystorm... cave tour we took the heli to the yacht which was approaching Minorca island when we landed aboard. It was close to 6 PM, so we washed up and had dinner on the sun deck at 7 PM while we watched the sunset and as we entered long entrance to the Mahón harbor, the second deepest natural harbor in the world.
Porto Cristo, Balearic Islands, Spain and Canary Islands mylifesjourney... cute to see. She was flirting back and he was laying on all the charm. I was cute to watch and what made it even cuter was they were nude the entire time. I think they might have gone up to the dunes to get some alone time since the disappeared for awhile.
Around 3 PM walked up off the beach to a clearing where the heli was waiting for us. It didn’t take long until we arrived at Porto Cristo.
Campos, Playa d' Es Trenc, Balearic Islands, Spain and Canary Islands susbol1This morning started out cold and rainy so I got a slow start. Wandering around in the rain wasn't what I wanted to do. It cleared up in the afternoon and I headed out to Porto Cristo. I went via some back roads and got a couple of windmill pictures.
My primary reason for going to Porto Cristo was the caves there, the Coves del Drac (the Dragon's Caves). These are truly beautiful caves with impressive stalactite and ...
... herd of bicycles. Bicycle touring seems to be mostly a German thing. Every bicycle group that's been at a restaurant where I've eaten has been speaking German.
Saturday I started out the day going to flea markets that are set up weekly. For the most part it was just wandering from one stall to another without buying. I already have all the purses I need... lots of purses... lots of ...
... on too late (she should have been asleep. I guess it never occurred to them that whoever saw her lights and criticized her wasn't asleep, either.). She was criticized for wanting to live on the edge of the village (obviously she had something to hide). Apparently she couldn't take it any more when she got annoymous letters accusing her of coming to the area for the sole purpose of acquiring a young man to return with her to ...
Randa, Balearic Islands, Spain graybeard... It has exotic bars and night-outs you will ever imagine and you don't feel lonely anywhere. All in all it was a wonderful trip, you can check the weather information on http://www.majorcainspain.co.uk/weather .html and see if this is the time to go. Happy traveling, any questions, don't hesitate to ask, I will be more than happy to answer.
Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain and Canary Islands e2traveller... the security guy to pass snap a picture myself, just for the sake of it. It's sad how this natural wonder was converted into a simple money making machine, like so much nowadays. A scenic road brings me to Portocolom, I enjoy sitting at the terrace overlooking the harbor, what I don't enjoy is the average tasting, overpriced, tiny portion of pasta. Time to get back to finish my book that I had left at a cliffhanger...
