... by the poolside, and there are others on the many low rooves of the onsen, and monkeys scampering up the hillside beyond. This isn't the end of the surreal wildlife, as a few minutes later two totally naked, totally uninhibited Japanese men tiptoe down the path, with weeny towels (not) covering their equiment and jump right in next to us!!! I talk to everyone sort of and make friendship bracelets and braid someone's hair, I'm so suited to hippy island life. I teach everyone about travellers . Then li spend the rest of the evening sitting outside with the Algerians. Another random turns up with pork sushi and then peaches. Someone starts singing Christmas carols and it's defiantly time to go to ...

    Monorail

... do something cool but it doesn't. Just my luck to find another castle but this one is pretty cool. The next big tourist thing here is the "paved walkway" which is just what it says on the tin, and pretty underwhelming. We've arranged to go to the beach when Mari finishes work so it's the mono rail back. I sleep in the middle of the common area and then we do go. It's beautiful the water is like ...
