    ... li>I cooked an inaugural dinner in OUR kitchen and we clinked whiskey glasses full of champagne to kickoff our first night in the house. We camped out on our air mattress, pulled up House of Cards and… HE FELL ASLEEP. Because I am a good wife, I paused HoC and let my sweet husband sleep and now I’m binge watching something else before I myself pass out. I hope all is well Stateside.

    For the record, still in love with my new home. Will give more much later!

    ... Okinawa at work-- it's amazing. The interior of the hospital is equally as visually stunning. At orientation the other day, I learned that the USNH was barely 3 years old. The front lobby was beautifully curated with rich glossy marble and local Okinawan accent portraits. I had a sneaking suspicion that this was the place I was meant to be.

    ... cave/river system in the dense forests of Okinawa (what the Island use to look like before Urbanization and wars). There are many caves but the entire valley is said to have been formed when a huge cave collapsed hundreds to thousands of years ago.
