This morning we started our day at 10am by heading the short distance to the Ernest C. Coe Visitor Center where we did a little shopping for the grandkids and talked with a ranger who gave us some ideas on where to visit. From there we drove 4 miles to Royal Palm. There we walked the boardwalks, the Anhinga Trail, a 1/2 mile loop as well as the Gumbo Limbo Trail, another 1/2 mile loop. Most of the photos posted today are from those two ...

Wish me luck, and hope that I don't fall off the highway, into the Atlantic Ocean ...

Dallas Buyers Club, excellent with oscar winning performances from Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto. About Time, funny and moving. Philomena, again funny, moving but also tragic in that it really happened. It didn't finish the 4th movie as we are descending into Miami by this time. Immigration and customs were a breeze ...

... oil and parmesan cheese and were so good. We had a lovely red wine from Nappa Valley to go with it. For dessert we had the best chocolate cake ever, the waitress told me it tasted to good because it had mayonnaise in it - of course it did!

After dinner our host arranged a table at the bar so we could watch the rest of the game on the big screen. Our barman made us a Mudslide each (Baileys, Kahlua and Vodka) and we watched Miami win. ...
