... we swung by a different hospital to see George Burch. He had knee surgery and was recovering. It was great to see Alice and George. George looked great if a little out of it due to the drugs. We'll, we still have to take care of things...truck's computer was pleading for an oil change. JD found a Ford dealer and we were at the service department at 7 am. ... roadside dinner, but they served a great breakfast, and were very friendly too. A couple of things stand out about the Cracked Conch Cafe. First, the food was good; second, they were a local hangout and a whole lot of people eating there knew each other; finally, they were all friendly with the tourists as well. If you ever get to Marathon Key, be sure to stop in. The French Toast is the bomb!
