... playing a familiar tune, I look over and the head chef comes out and starts singing happy birthday with the harp player THEN all the other people staying and working at the hotel joined in all singing happy birthday to me. They then presented me with a hand made ornament and wished me another happy birthday. I got up and bowed to all the staff thanking all of them. Matsumoto is a very cute city with its own castle (not that I have seen it). Luke will take the kids out today to do some exploring. Mason doing really well, he can stand with weight on his good leg on crutches. Not allowed to put any more than 10kg of weight on his bad leg for 6 weeks. ... Of course the news wasn't taken lightly by anyone. My boss sounded like he would kill me if he could, the teachers were in shock and visibly saddened (which made me feel so depressed) but a resignation isn't something you can easily take back so I had to stay course.
