    ... resort, with over one hundred million litres of near boiling water gushing from more than three thousand springs each day, harnessed for use by homes for swimming pools, heating and medicinal purposes, as well as the dozens of public and private baths available.

    We've had an amazingly epic adventure and are feeling very mixed emotions! Our last day was as extreme as Japan seems to be.     On a lighter note, this is Hagi a town filled with pottery and orange groves. A place to sooth the soul with beauty. Bizarrely there was a gigantic modern building dedicated to ceramics in this quiet little island town. Incredible professional pottery in the museum and shops overflowing with more pots.     Sorry if the photos posted makes you cry. The immense suffering caused by the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki surely only serves some kind of purpose if people hear the suffering and the world moves forward with nuclear disarmament. Around 75000 people died almost instantly when the bomb hit and another 80000 people suffered and continued to suffer the horrendous after effects of the devastation.
