... we were in Greece, we decided to head to the far end of the village to take in the world famous Santorini sunset.
What a letdown. An unfortunate side effect of the time of the year was the low and thick cloud cover that seemed to settle in just as the sun was about to set, effectively taking away any opportunity for the beautiful views that this particular village is renowned for. Oh well, we had two more nights so surely we would have a chance to see one ...

We made what was supposed to be the "last" ferry but there were still heaps of passengers coming down the mountain behind us, another slightly late departure for the ship... ... your feet. If you do go for this treatment, prepare to test your tickling tolerance - Josh could barely keep a straight face a few times!
Santorini also has incredible places for meals. Josh and I discovered a beautiful resort café that offered not only incredible picturesque views of the sunset, but also the most amazing pina coladas. We savored the drinks by sunset and quad biked back to our hotel. Truly an incredible evening.
