After a questionable drive from the airport, we've arrived in Santorini! Yesterday, we visited the ruins of Ancient Mycenae. The Mycenaeans were an ancient civilization that controlled the area in the 12th century BC. The ruins were of a castle/small city that was basically the capital of their empire. Kelly and I walked up stairs that the Mycenaen king would have walked up every day. We also saw an unbelievably impressive tomb. I'll post more ...
... one volcanic island with a cove that is warm due to sulpher rising from the volcano crater 450 feet below the surface. Rich swam to the cove with the others but indecloned due to the warning that the sulpher would ruin my bathing suit!

... It was delicious. Pulled up anchor and headed off to our prime position for the sunset. We sailed along the coastline and past Oia, where we were yesterday. Set anchor to watch an unbelievable sunset. Stuart and myself sat at the stern of the boat with our feet dangling over the side. It was like we had the best seats in the house. We took the bus back to Kamari and went to the beach again. For dinner, the program took us to a classic Greek tavern, with dancing! We had tomato fritters, salad and meat, and I danced all night!
