I was woken at 5.00am by noise from deliveries in the courtyard outside the hotel, I am not sure if they were delivering to the hotel or to the shops under the hotel, anyway it's a city centre hotel so it's bound to happen, I tried to get back to sleep but no chance so I put tv on and watched BBC world news, all doom and gloom as usual. • I went for a walk that afternoon and saw St Michael's Church which has a massive clock tower on top (I didn't bother going up), the city hall or Rathaus and the Binnenalster (artificial lake) in the middle of the city.
  • The hostel had a decent kitchen and it was deserted so I grabbed some groceries and cooked dinner. It was just an omelet but it was nice to have something healthy for a change.
  • Fri ...
