Hamburg at around 4.45 pm and an easy stroll to our hotel. A quick freshen up
and off for a drink at our hotel - we had a two for one voucher for a cocktail
    for the girls. This ...

One area is being converted into exclusive residential apartments. Another, which had grand storage warehouses has become offices and shops, as residentail conversion was not considered safe due to the very real liklihood of flooding.

After the tour, into the lower side of town and found ourselves in little Portugal. Loads of restaurants and ...

    ... the centre.

After a short break back at the apartment for lunch, we visited St Michael's church about 200m from the apartment. It is large and has baroque features. We wandered back into town and discovered that Hamburg is hosting an international triathlon over the next 2 days. It’s a huge event with lots of tents and displays ready for the crowds.

Quiet night tonight - dinner in and early to ...
