... with many areas quite preserved - older style buildings and streets.
But the weather is not so good in the mountains. It was raining the night I got here and the next morning. However, I didn't let it affect me and took the opportunity to go to the art deco/modern art museum. And the teddy bear museum!!!!! The Art Deco museum was good but had limited displays - especially for its size. But some nice pieces of glass ...

A night in the luxurious Associa Hotel and a meal with the Atkins Family were a real ...

Lasts days of Japan

... just flew passed.

We have had an amazing journey and thoroughly enjoyed everywhere that we have been to but Japan has really been a highlight.
Not as expensive as we were lead to believe, you can eat out easily for a couple of pounds a meal and transport was also quite cheap. Not going to miss eating and sleeping on the floor! and it was quite nice to have a knife and fork for our meal when we got to Kings Cross!!
