the flight to bali took about twelve total hours, with a total of six stops: 5 on tiny atolls in micronesia and the marshall islands, and one 24 hour layover on guam. the atolls are unreal, like ribbons of sand that look like theyre floating on the water; how they dont get swamped is beyond me.

... fall hurt just a bit .. youll see in the video my form wasnt exactly "smooth" haha. So if theres any doubters out there... I HAVE hit puberty as of today! The hike back was a different route but was very similiar to the way there. We encountered a lot of sawgrass, had amazing scenic views of the mountains, and got our fair share of Boonie Mud! copy and paste in your browser to watch..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTJ57wip An8
Yigo, Guam guamblog... being "icked up" and you could see 100 feet+! Notice how clear some of the pictures are.. Well ill post up here in probably about a week or two.. Weve got some big storms brewing out here so i have a feeling well be hunkering down. We have already evacc-ed all the aircraft possible for a cyclone thats heading for us tomorrow morning... Update... all the storms passed and the worst we got was 30-50 mph winds and heavy showers!
... from the tourists to chase divers and yes... I had to join the club and get my tshirt for mooning the submarine. I know.. I know.... I'm going somewhere for that one.
Our second dive was out to fish eye pier, which is similar to Gab Gab in a way. Its a pier that reaches out to waters not much deeper than 35 feet right offshore. At the end of the pier is an underwater observatory where tourists can pay and watch the mass amount of fish the hang out here. Its fun to swim under ...
... our group though.. I am guessing the house was full or the guy had been shunned o his roof but he had several blankets lying on his roof and he took 1 and offered the rest to us. When life gives you lemons make lemonade right?
So we woke up in the morning.... started our 25 mile walk back. A local guy felt sympathy for us and gave us a ride halfway across the island on his way to work. We finally got a hold of Airman 1, who decided to answer his ...
... to bet WET? On top of that: I do not feel so well. Have not for 2 weeks. I thought it was a head cold but Hubby says it must be an allergy. By now, I think he is right. It is so unpleasant to be sneezing up to 100 times a day. Have sinuses full of ants, itching noise, soar head and running eyes. Not to speak about the stuff coming out of my noise ... . But I deserted Tony already 2 weeks ago, so I kicked myself out of bed ...
Tamuning, Guam tonyandmarina... 07082 302olyfe280.asp I gave Dr T the choice to buy a land camera now and I would buy him a decent underwater camera in Cairns. He says that the real good underwater cameras are big and heavy and very expensive. We shop for food for tonight and a new external hard disk: ours is full! Which we do not find to Tony's liking. We do find a toy he wants: a wireless detector. A tool the size of a memory stick. You can always check whether the ...
Tamuning, Guam tonyandmarina... to the register and my question was answered. And it was $8.99 - $8.99! easily the best bargain in all of Micronesia, I'd be willing to venture. My unwillingness to leave anything behind (save for the pita wedges, nothing new there), made me reflect on my relationship with my stomach. It does a surprisingly good job of digesting large quantities when it really matters. I think I've finally grown into my stomach, or it's grown into me. We have a good ...
Tamuning, Guam living2travel... day. On our flight to Tokyo/Narita, we were upgraded to FIRST CLASS, much to our suprise! It was nice to be able to recline and sleep on the way. I will definitely fly JAL again, it is nice to know that customer service is still practiced by some airlines. The flight attendants even found a cheese and cracker snack for me, instead of the sushi box everyone else ate--THANK YOU JAPAN AIRLINES!!!
Agana, Guam joelle... the ********icer who'd bought me the Hawaiian shirt the day before $30, so I paid him back in cash, and he paid for our drinks (how generous) with that money. I am not really angry about the money, but am serious that he is a jerk. This is common knowledge; he admits it himself. He's one of those people who likes to make fun of ensigns (new officers) because they're new. I guess it's part of my training. So the entire time at the bar, he and the warrant officer who is his ...
