the flight to bali took about twelve total hours, with a total of six stops: 5 on tiny atolls in micronesia and the marshall islands, and one 24 hour layover on guam. the atolls are unreal, like ribbons of sand that look like theyre floating on the water; how they dont get swamped is beyond me.

... white tip reef sharks.  Noone really had a chance to take a picture because it was so quick but the minute it realized we were around it was out of there. The reef sharks are much more afraid of us than we are of them...(which is not much) and there are almost never shark attacks unless people are being stupid here. ... penetration certificate.. But all in all it was a very eye opening day and was really cool to experience the history of 2 world wars underwater 70 years later. Ill update the pictures as soon as they come in! P.s. I just traded in my "snorkeling" camera for a Canon with an underwater case that I can take to 130 feet. Yes i gave in! But the pictures later on will be worth it..

... to bet WET? On top of that: I do not feel so well. Have not for 2 weeks. I thought it was a head cold but Hubby says it must be an allergy. By now, I think he is right.
