Today we had gotten a great idea from Mizue about what to do during the hot afternoons. We went bowling! There was a bowing alley not far from our hotel so we ventured out at about 11am and headed for the bowling alley. First we stopped at a chinese food restaurant that was right next to the bowling alley. Everything looked so good that we ended up ordering way to much and left there very full. After that we had 3 rounds of ...
... to be a museum for a famous Japanese poet. That was a bit of a problem for us, because everything was in Japanese and even the displays were old books. The lady at the front desk was able to give us a photocopy of an English book explaining the poets life and why he is so signifigant to Japanese history. In our wanderings we found out that there was a shuttle bus that would take us to the festival sight for free.
At 7pm that night we found our way to the shuttle and were on our way to ...
... ATMs in the middle of a forest and we were seriously running out of cash. At lunch we tried to order the cheapest thing we could find but unfortunately David managed to choose some rare mushroom delicacy that cost 100 yuan for a plate full. We didn't even have 100 yuan by this point so we had no idea what to do other than to offer to do the washing up. Eventually they reduced their price to 50 yuan, leaving us with 20 yuan for dinner. We spent the afternoon gazing ...
