well what can i say, a brilliant bed and a fantastic breakfast set us up for a day of exploring. Despite the steady rain, it didnt stop all day, we headed along the promenade towards Benicarlo, most places were still shut for the winter but plenty of shops and bars were open. 5 miles later we stopped for a comfort break at the grimiest cafe we could find and had a coffee while the locals tucked into the dish of the day at 3 euros a platefull.
