Into Spain
... a wonderful, well-stocked library! Can you imagine my delight?
It is also situated in a nature reserve affording us many varied walks. I can hear the sea from my bed at night and the sun shines during the day.

The Tortosa and the Hare
... and up until we reached the castle. Then we were speechless.
Many paradores in Spain are castles- Dad really did his research!
The locals, thinking we were lightweight tourists probably, advised us not to walk up to the castle from the city. We did anyway. Welcome back, thigh muscles.

Hostia del Mar
... of self appointed pope who moved there to escape criticism (and attacks) from "his" people. Despite the many assassination attempts, he died peacefully of natural causes at an old age. The best thing about the castle was the view from the top. You could see the Mediterranean (blue blue blueeeeee) and the town.

Day two of the festival
day two of the gig, and to be honest I've had enough of typing now.
forgot to say that plan b were bloody brilliant last night, probaby the best in show, briliant beat box guy opened up for them, really good.
anyway, today we saw Elbow, who as always got the crowd going, and heard the stranglers, who I kn ow more of than i thought, then saw brandon flowers, the strokes and then went to james murphy.
