First a correction, just read back thru yesterdays entry, should read Bunratty Castle, whoops. Not much to talk about today as we will be on the bus most of the time. Got up early and went for a power walk, good idea as the head was a bit marginal. Down to brekkie and say goodbye to Paul and Anne who are heading off back to the States from Shannon airport. Day 30
Woke up in Killarney to a misty morning. Nice breakfast and off to the bus to do the Cliffs Of Moher and onto Dunratty Castle for the night. Not much to see initially until the mist rises. Lots of wind turbines on the hillsides, Michael explains that the EU wants 10% wind generation by 2020 for total electricity use. Ireland has decided to attempt tto get 20% wind generation. Day Four – Castles and Tombs

Tipperary-Blarney Castle and kissing the Stone
... narrow and steep circular stairway, the area gets narrower as you go higher and you have to walk through some very low doorways as well. Arrival on the Auld Sod, Ireland
