... and David and I walked into town. Fifty minutes each way! It is such a pretty town and being Sunday it was particularly busy. Brought back old memories of the last time we were here with Robyn and Richard. Actually found the Hotel Magenta where we stayed. David has gone back into town this afternoon with Viv and Ian to show them the sites. They will be back I'm sure to watch the Australians play Argentina in the rugby. Watched the game and celebrated! Had ...

Jim and Nicki spoilt us with a lovely dinner and delicious red wine and we had a great evening with them. We met their daughter Zoe who is now 11 and who I hadn't seen ...

... make the most of them, you gotta make some sacrifices!

While I'm on this, my god it is so great to be finally able to pay a decent price for a damn coffee! Anywhere from €1 to €1.50. Unlike bloody Perth! This price has been the average all through Europe so far, and to have a piece of cake with it, we'll add another couple of euro, that's all!! What the hell is Perth thinking? Flogging off pieces of cake for up to $6 a slice and nearly $5 for a ...

... little village in a very attractive spot. could have stayed there a lot longer but time is running out for us here in Europe, pretty soon we have to cross the channel again.
Our overnight stop yesterday was Loredo, a coastal town with lots of holiday units but once again not many people around. It almost looked deserted and am sure that it is feeling the pinch with the lack of money available. A liitle sad to see as it is a nice little spot ...
