... is where disaster struck again, but this time for Peter. As he wrestled with the luggage straps on his testicle resembling bags he pushed too hard and the fireblade didn't need any more encouragement to go tumbling over sideways onto the grass. Luckily it was grass so damage to the fairings was avoided but the fall still was enough to snap off a large chunk of the front brake lever. Upon much examination we decided that duct tape on ...

... treats, and drunk our way through litres of yummy sangria, cheap beer and wine. We have done our fair share of French and Spanish radio which clearly play the same 15 or so pop songs on rotation, Spanish radio was slightly better. I've been to France at least once every summer for as far back as I can remember, be it french camp in the South or summers spent working in Paris, but this time it was going to be different. We were going to Wwoof, just Shona and myself and our two oversized rucksacks. The idea of "wwoofing" apparently finds its origins in the UK ...

... it would take around 13 and 1/2 hours to reach Algercias, although we would certainly be stopping for a proper nights sleep before that.
We crossed the boarder in to Spain without really knowing it, we guessed it was around 11 o'clockish, but not 100% sure. The only real signal we saw was there were more and more Spanish cars on the road. I was expecting some sign saying welcome to Spain or something, but nothing. I've only been to other ...
