... from the photos we have visited friends on their boats and had friends on ours. Life in Rochefort is very sociable and busy which is great fun but I must admit sometimes when you can put you feet up of an evening, go for a walk, or a meal, read a book or watch TV this is just as enjoyable. We also like to keep in touch with family by skype or phone, when we are away for long periods of time we think this is very important and to ring friends for a natter is also lovely to catch ...

    Le Verdon

Sleep has been so very easy for me, but for some reason, last night was my nemesis….I think I got some sleep, but it sure didn't feel like it when I got up this morning….and it didn’t feel like it last night when I was tossing and turning.

... I did as quick as I could. I made my way from Paris to Tours where I stopped for petrol, then found a supermarket for lunch. Inside the shopping complex was a refrigerated pre made sandwich vendor, so I ended up with a nice chicken and salad baguette for just a couple of Euro. In the supermarket, which was massive, I tried to find instant pasta with sauce - but to no avail - so I figured I'd have to go with the ramen noodles I bought yesterday for dinner. Why do no supermarkets ...
