Our hotel starts serving them breakfast from 2.45am and they ride up and down the legendary road as often as they can all day. Yes, that's right...UP and DOWN, repeatedly! It is a Dutch event called the Alpe de Huzes and last year raised €30M. The challenge is 6 ascents and descents. Last year someone cracked 9!
