Thanksgiving
... though - there was no turkey. Well, we bought some deli turkey to say that we physically had some... but no one ate it. We were really just not feeling the whole go buy a turkey with its head and feathers still on... Might as well just go kill my own while we're at it! Encore une nuit ecourtee, mais cette fois-ci, ce n'etait pas l'alarme incendie. C'etait plustot une fille saoule a 4h30am qui ne se souvenait plus du code pour ouvrir la porte de l'hotel. ... time and everything was easy to understand - rules of the game are the same & clapping/booing have the same meaning!
Today, Margot and I went to the cathedral for mass and then to get lunch at one of the few places open. It was beautiful weather and a relaxing day. I sat out in the garden area with GeGe (the dog) & got a lot of work done to ready myself for the week.
Can't believe tomorrow is October 1st! Where does the time go!?
