... we toured (requires men to where jackets and ties and no tennis shoes) so we didn't go there again after the early afternoon tour either. But we took pictures.
Walked around the town and took in the ambience. Had dinner with some folks from the tour and had the obligatory Black Forest cake...yum!

... on foot. By ten o'clock the sun was burning off the fog and it looked fair for walking. After breakfast we headed for Gengenbach,which looked even prettier in the sun. A quick stop at the Tourist Informaton centre to pick up a booklet of sixteen walks and we were set. Another damp day and low cloud was hugging the tops of the hills, but for the moment no rain was falling. We set of for Triberg where the highest waterfall in Germany should be in full spate after all the rain we have had. It is a pleasant drive along the Kinzig valley following the river which is bank high.
