... diner, and walked to the beach. Very nice little town. Which it could be seen it used to be a 'sleeper town' which had just been awoken over the last half decade or so.
After a nice scouting, I returned to the highway ( 2:00pm ish ) to hitchhike my way too San Diego.
My back was killing me !!! My pack had grown exponentially over the last week.
Anyways. Off to San Diego I hoped! Better luck than last ...
... of his pool, gliding on his back and hitting the glass with a thud. To be honest, I was thinking of escape routes should the glass break and Mr Walrus and his icy water come flooding into the viewing area. Making it out alive, we took a walk through the jellyfish garden, turtle tank and seahorse cavern. Having demanded chips for (what seemed like) the last couple of hours at the top of her voice, we got the hint that Phoebe was a bit tired and needed ...
... we just could not get enough! Mike told us that the Sunset Market was not something to miss. So we invited Billy, Lydia and Brian to go with us. We walked around downtown for a couple hours looking at cool art and eating yummy food.

Next is a very short ride around the courner and we have located the Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, one of the Alta California missions ... we find a friendly lady to leave the bikes with, whilst we wander around and eat our lunch. Sarah stretches out in the sun whilst I explore the grounds ... it's just all old stuff around here ... oh and a few geckos.
Back on the trail ...
We had decided to go to Mexico and our first stop was Cancun. It was a lovely hotel, but I can tell you it was exceptionally hot weather. We certainly had a lot of pools to choose from.
