    We drove past the Vehicle Build Centre - a massive building with a HUGE door where the “Crawler” exits with the space craft prior to it being launched. The Control Centre is nearby but the Launch Pad is a safe distance of 5 miles away.

    ... Especially when compared to the Kennedy Space centre itself! which we did in the afternoon. That was truly awesome. Americans do this stuff well. The various experiences tied in with actual space vehicles, audio-visual presentations and animated models continuously bought goose bumps.
