Under leaden skies and the kind of rain to get Noah reaching for his timber yard discount card, we left our lovely apartment in Sunset Beach and commenced the next leg of our journey. We paid a brief visit to Myrtle Beach which easily maintained its reputation for tackiness. At one of its more tasteful attractions, a ...

... our flashlight, exploring little tide pools and playing in the water. We took the path back through the “jungle” to get to the campground which was a totally different experience in the dark! Luckily for us, we were just in time to eat hamburger steaks and salad. Perfect timing. It was nice for us all to be together. I love the sound of laughter around the dinner table. Now that we have JT, there is that fun "playing ...

We left Nashville, Tennessee and headed to South Carolina. It was a huge drive from Nashville to Georgetown so we stopped somewhere half way and set up camp, right on the river. It was a beautiful campsite hidden amongst the trees and it only had four other campers.

After a great night sleep, we continued our journey to Georgetown.

Georgetown is a peaceful waterfront community and is the third oldest city in South Carolina. Founded in 1729, ...
