We had a great flight from Providence to Chicago. Mommy had never flown on Halloween before. There were free drinks and the crew was all dressed in costumes. We, of course, were dressed in our Southwest gear. The flight attendants called us their "Southwest high rollers" because we frequent SWA so often. They even made a special certificate for us with our new names. We had a great visit and we were thrilled to see Daddy again!

So we decided to visit Dubois beach in Stonington. Actually, we wanted to climb the lighthouse but it was closed. Instead, we walked on the beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Hard to believe that two hours before we were buried in 14 inches of snow and down trees! We picked up a few shells and enjoyed walking on the beach.

... Funny how living somewhere reprograms what we know and our whole reality. My reality is now Vietnam and I feel like a fish out of water now when visiting the US.

And you know what...as nice as dinner out in the US can be, I think I actually prefer the crapshoot that dining in Vietnam can be. I don't know if I have changed or if the my old world in the US has just moved on without me.
