Was it worth it ? Yes ..... We had 360 deg views at the top. It was 1100m up (not sure how much above sea level) and since it is smack bang in the middle of an ancient volcano, lots of national parks, beautiful valleys and fertile country below. The journey back to Brisbane went ok but on the way through we got just a wee bit lost. After asking a gentleman in a furniture shop we were back on the right road and were soon approaching Coronation Drive which runs along the Brisbane River. There were roadworks and we turned right when the lights changed and soon found out we were on our way to Ipswich.
