The canal's current zipped us right out to the Delaware Bay where we spent our afternoon into the evening traveling to the Bay's entrance. Of course the closer we got to the ocean, the higher and choppier the waves got as it seemed all those thunderstorms rolling across land were chasing us out to sea. ...

10'x15'... the past 5 years, 2 bedrooms and 4 floors of our home is now crammed into a one cinder-block cell, the mail has been stopped (doubt I'll miss it) and tenants who will be kindly paying our mortgage for the next 12months are now moved in and we're officially "homeless".
Bethany Beach is where we'll be calling home for the next few weeks, until we jump out on the road at the end of July.

I could think of worse places to lay-low for awhile.

It's almost time, people! I've got two days and a lot of stuff to do before I leave. Packing would probably be the most important, and I've put a small dent in it. So far I have clothes, which obviously are the most important items, but I am having a difficult time choosing which shoes will make the final cut. I guess I can't bring every pair of heels I own.
