... some friends. Dinner at Il Vecchio, Italian restaurant. Wonderful meal, thanks to Russ, Cindy, and Gerry. I had mussels and wild rock cod and Dick had a carbonara. And, dessert back to Mel and Sayo's. Sorry, for the lack of photos. Guess I am taking a break from all that. Will try to get back to it.

Wednesday, September 17 - today, we will have lunch with a client and then, off to dinner with an old friend, all about 2.5 hours away.

"Quality : by choice hotels" is their strapline, which I am not sure I understand.   The breakfast was of a certain quality, but of the sort which reminded me of the famous school report which read something like, "He sets himself very low standards and consistently fails to live up to them". ... The club is open to the public and has gift shops and of course clothing shops. The price tags put us off but we got a few trinkets. Geoff was in Heaven as we recorded our visit on camera, I'm sure the shop attendants are used to silly tourists!
