... some friends. Dinner at Il Vecchio, Italian restaurant. Wonderful meal, thanks to Russ, Cindy, and Gerry. I had mussels and wild rock cod and Dick had a carbonara. And, dessert back to Mel and Sayo's. Sorry, for the lack of photos. Guess I am taking a break from all that. Will try to get back to it.

Wednesday, September 17 - today, we will have lunch with a client and then, off to dinner with an old friend, all about 2.5 hours away.

As we left San Francisco, we said our farewells to the city as we crossed the famous orange 4,200 foot long bridge. The next scheduled stop was Los Angeles but not for a few days so we slowly trailed our way down Highway 1 making stops along the way. ... budget price. Of course you get what you pay for but really happy with this place. A bit more room to spread out for a couple of nights, the hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is included!! The information centre staff also informed us the weekly farmers market was on and so that was our afternoon & evening sorted. Great food, interesting stall holders and a fun vibe. Would still rather be in Yosemite ...
