We woke up in this beautiful wilderness and after several cups of tea, we both went for a run down to the San Simeon beach itself and then back to the motor home. ... af køreturen på at få skrevet, så vi lige kunne opdatere billeder m.v. på vores lille blog, når vi nåede Big Sur.

Efter ca. 3 timers kørsel ramte vi igen Highway 1. Som første attraktion på vejen skulle vi se noget af Monterey området. Monterey Akvarium (stiftet af David Packard – grundlæggeren af HP) sprang vi over, idet vi allerede havde set 2 akvarier og samtidig skulle forvente at bruge mindst en ½ dag der, hvilket ikke var med i tidsplanen.
