    ... finished around 1900 as some rain set in and got back to the hostel and threw the TV on and found an English program and let it run as we prepped dinner. Leesh wasn't feeling good and all of a sudden ran to the toilet and was violently ill. We weren't sure why or what she had eaten to do it but she wasn't feeling good at all. She crashed out to try get better by the morning as I did some research or an hour or so before following and crashing ...

    ... We finally arrived in Natal at around 2130 and jumped straight into a taxi to make the trip to our place down at Ponta Negra. It took about 15mins and we arrived at our hostel just before 2200. We showered and admired the place we were in and how nice it was considering the price we paid. So much cheaper than our tiny place in Fortaleza and so much nicer with our own bathroom, fridge and microwave. We crashed out not after realising the TV in the room had no English channels ...

    ... the beach front and walked down to an old fort shaped a bit like a star. The seafront looked really nice and was packed with locals (it was a Sunday). We headed back to the hostel around lunchtime to try and watch the England/Ireland rugby game on ESPN.     ... the malecon and the bits they had done were already falling apart.

    Got the bus back to the far end of Ponta Negra where a huge sandy headland is sliding down into the sea – was happy I was not staying in the crowds here as the beach disappeared at high tide leaving everyone cramming the streets, shops & restaurants.
