... fietsen, maar er zitten nu eenmaal niet meer uren in een dag.

We gaan ook nog even langs bij Bruce Rossmeier's Harley-Davidson-zaak en, min of meer bij toeval, voor een kopje koffie naar de 'Iron Horse Saloon'. Dat was erg grappig, we reden er langs en zagen een bordje 'swap meet', dus de auto geparkeerd en even langs alle bebaarde, getatoeëerde en in leder gestoken HD-bikkels over het terrein, om uiteindelijk een paar setjes oorbellen te kopen.

We zijn weer terug op de plek waar we zijn begonnen, in Ormond-by-the-sea. Witte stranden, de Atlantic, surfers en een 'hey dude'-attitude. De lunch staat al bijna klaar in het 'Lagerhead Bar & Grill' en de serveerster herkent ons nog van ons eerste bezoek.
We hebben vanuit Mississippi al een aanrader uit de Tripadvisor gemaild, het 'Sundeck' motel in Ormond, waar we vanaf vandaag ons bivak zullen opslaan.

Our final bus journey took us back to the main area, where we started queuing for the Space Shuttle stimulation. Wow, what an experience. ... launch along with a million other people. I guess NASA held 20,000 tickets for VIPs as they count down the final few space shuttle missions. The tour also had us within a mile of the launch pad of the shuttle Atlantis. The launch pad (39A) is right off the beach of the Atlantic ocean.
