      ... on the 15th and headed north to Kelowna, the Lake Region and Vernon to look at more RV sites. Of all the sites we saw we liked Swan Lake the best and so will likely make reservations there for Sept/Oct. We stayed in Vernon overnight at the Village Green hotel. Dinner in the hotel was discounted for guests and we had a great meal of prime rib roast with all the trimmings. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. We would definitely stay ...

      Our adventure begins at the Vancouver Airport on a beautiful Monday morning. Our Canadian crew of 4 make our way through security unscathed. We also managed to get our massive box of supplies (named Max) through security and onto the plane with us. It was a long flight (14 hours to be exact) but went quite quickly with the great company I had. Downloading season 1 of Game of Thrones also helped.       ... all over myself. I woke up just in time to see what I think was the Great Salt Lake then not much further on snow capped mountains! On arrival into Vancouver first thoughts it was beautiful. Snow capped mountains but clear sunny day, it was only about 18 degrees but it was a lovely dry heat. We caught a taxi to our first accommodation the Sylvia Hotel located opposite English Bay a lovely little heritage building, rooms were basic but did the job. ...
