      ... covered from head to toe, in every nook and cranny! We headed down to the beach and washed off most of the sand before finding a burger. In the evening we headed to Mustfa for a Green-go party and more samba.

      Our final day in Floripa was spent hanging around in the hostel hammocks before we had to say our goodbyes to our new pals, bar the Aussies who joined us on the night bus to Iguzau.

      ... having had a nice tour of the entire island, dumbfounded and frustrated. Alan gave it a go next and he accidently stumbled upon the mother of the guy who ran the Pousada we were looking for. There was no sign, no one answered the phone when we called, and the interior of the island is a rat’s nest of bungalows and paths. It’s pure accident that we found them.

      The Pousada was fine, after all and the family was lovely too. Enough ...

      Another top day tanning and chilling on the beach. Back for lunch then went for a walk to the slightly disappointing rock pools. Had a superb Brazilian dinner made by a local in the hostel. Played a few games and called it a night. Changing hostel ...

      ... Mr Miyagi. After a grueling hour or so, the fans on the shore were going wild and we really felt as one with the sea (read in Aussie surfer dude voice).

      The evening was spent reminiscing about catching out first waves and eating an ungodly amount of pizza. We could be excused for doing so with another lengthy bus journey to Iguazu the following day.
