Ocean Palms Motel Coffs Harbour

... then headed inland to Dorrigo, which is a town in the rainforest. We took a drive out to Dangar Falls and then back down to the sea via the windy rainforest roads. We then went on to Coffs Harbour, where we saw the Big Banana!, which is apparently the most famous big thing in Oz!

... 4 lovely sunny days and we get down to the beach for a walk when we can. The upside of all this rain is that everything is so green - I am astounded at how green.  It reminds me of England's green and pleasant lands after the drought we have experienced in Victoria. However, it should be warming up over the next few days as we move up into the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.  Looking forward to that. Will write more then.

Deciding that I had to get out of Sydney for Christmas and New Year my search led me to Coffs Harbour, about a 9 hour bus journey north of Sydney.
