Thommo picked up the hire car at a bit before 10am and we all met up at their hotel to be on the road as quickly as possible. We had got up and packed, checked out and into a cab and got there just after 10am as the guys were packing the bags into the car. Upon checking out I asked the hostel owner Carlos the talkative joker to call me a cab in which he said "you are a cab", then asked if I'd like him to use the phone to get a taxi for me, what a joker, ...

... in the world, Myla. Kelsey and Kyle who picked us up immediately heard all about our Mike Geyser experience which was still hot on our minds! ... which literally consisted of only a couple of streets (reminded me of Gilmore Girls), but again it was a very affluent town with gorgeous shops, restaurants and a lot of charm! We had our nicest meal of the trip so far at a fine dining restaurant (so cheap compared to at home).

A few minutes down the road into Santa Barbara for today's fun. Sun is shining, sea is glistening, and the palm trees are huge. Gorgeous place. We have a stroll along the sea front and onto the wharf whilst Taya has a nap. Then the main activity for the morning is hiring a bike cart for us all to have a pedal along the glorious seafront. Dylan tries out all the different varieties whilst Rich pays.
