    ... but this lunch is perfect.

    3:15 - time for the safety drill. We gather up our life jackets and meet 500+ others gathered at our muster station. Happily people take this drill seriously. It takes only 30 minutes or so and who knows?

    Cast off is at 4 pm. There is always a big sail-away party and we head to the top of the ship to wave at no one in particular on shore. The party is in full swing...drinking, music, lots ...

    ... already able to checking into our room. The entrance to the hotel is pretty amazing and grand. We booked the Traditional Cloister Room (the cheapest room in the resort) and lucked out with a corner unit that is really big with a walk in closet and a view towards the main entrance. Not bad at all!!!!!! So far a really pleasant surprise! Lets see how many of the 7 pools we are going to find ...

    That about sums up my journey so far. But don't worry! I am rested and relaxed because I came prepared with ear plugs, eyeshade, inflatable neck pillow, etc (see photo). I'm sitting in the airport with Mackenzie in Ft. Lauderdale now waiting for the plane to San Jose! It's just me and Mackenzie flying together, but another girl from Drexel named Ambar is coming to Costa Rica as well and flying ...

    Then there was another long queue for Customs and then another wait whilst the Celebrity shepherdess gathered her flock and finally we were on our way to the Hilton at Fort Lauderdale Marina via a nice comfie coach.
