Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom teamjaliceBournemouth has a very funny layout.. the two main streets of the town go up both sides of the hills that lead down to the park and eventually to the famous Pier.

I was a bit down in the dumps this day.. I think because I was watching all the families and couples having some fun. It was mid term break so there were heaps of kids around and the entrance to the Pier was packed with amusements and ...
Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom sares12... a lot to see when your on them.

So we decided on a next stop as Lyme Regis on the South Coast to break up our journey back to London. It's a nice place at the start of the Jurassic Coast which we did not have time to explore. Kim impressively went for a morning run even though it was rainy and windy and I stayed tucked up in bed!
Lyme Regis, England, United Kingdom darrenhough74... we went into the club. Where they were just finishing off the kids club show. We had a three piece singing group and then two comedians. I think the entertainment startedabout 9 and went through till about 1. In the club they had a kids amusement centre, with pool tables, dance machines and arcade games.. we went through a lot of 2p coins than night!! I was really surprised at the amount of entertainment there. A lot of fun for a big kid like me!!

Crewkerne, England, United Kingdom artell... is closed" Music to my ears, we turned around and flew back down all the up hill roads we had just cycled up. We took a few photos of the beautiful countryside and we will return to the village, next time checking when it is open and finding a better route which does not contain a 20% hill!!! We then cycled to Wareham, there was a nice little pub that had tables and seats outside, I had just returned with our tea and coffee when the heavens ...
Wareham, Dorset, United Kingdom teamceri... for 3rd party insurance. The air horns are almost fitted, we have tracksuits and red sweatshirts rammed in to every nook and cranny and Jim is making more nooks and crannies to ram more stuff in. Time is running out, but those bullet points are being ticked off. We're getting there. I contacted Charli Cartwright, who collected 8 boxes of pencils on our behalf to ask if I could collect them. She's put me off until Monday because she's busy sharpening them all !

Weymouth, United Kingdom spooky388... blocked by snow and we had to detour to Montigny and thence over the St Bernard Pass and down to Aolta.
Of that whole journey, which I will one day, if time permits relate to you, we were most impressed by Switzerland. At the time it was the most expensive place in Europe. A grapefruit priced at a Co-op shop in Basel, en route, scared us into living very frugally whilst in that country! So we missed out on the wonderful transport opportunities of rail, cablecars and lake ...
Yeovil, England, United Kingdom ankorjuglor... This
would then compell us to continue by rail and other public transport
methods. We chose to go on a Great Rail Journey with the company of the
same name. Taking the Glacier Exprees package choice we set off for
Waterloo Station in London, from our local station at Yeovil Junction
early on a late June morning.

This is the story of that trip, its sights and its 'wonders' !!!
