      ... he is home by himself. I got this sudden image of him eating alone at night and I suddenly decided to invite him out with me for dinner. I thought about it quickly, in the split second where your brain thinks 1000 miles an hour, but I just felt the need to do it-sometimes we have to trust in the Lord and think what would he do in the same situation.       ... everything, as the history is interesting, but then very hot , [ I will persist in having too many clothes on, the weather is so warm and humid in Ireland,and early in the morning you think...maybe its not going to be hot...it is..even if it rains a little!]

      Day 3 Drove to Glendalough and explored Wicklow mountains. I did so much walking that the base of the toes on my right foot started hurting whenever I put weight on it. Glendalough was a monastic settlement where saint Kevin lived. No idea who that was, but apparently he was important. After leaving Glendalough we drove the entire military road back to South Dublin.       ... being blown and stems added. All pieces are checked by eye, any not perfect are ground down and go back into the furnace. One man was marking a grid pattern on the pieces, then it was on to the cutters – absolutely amazing that such intricate work is done by eye/hand, it’s really beautiful to see.
