... other real attraction is the very large wind farms which are an awesome sight while standing directly below them. On a final note for Victoria, it is the state that has the most oldest looking caravans. I mean don't people sell caravans down here! No these things are probably kept up on stumps just so you can mow underneath them from time to time while taking the odd holiday or two. Well it's time to blog off, and say good bye to Victoria! We will blog next time from South Australia.
Geelong, Victoria, Australia serenitynow... The both drifted to shore in the bay of this gorge. My next stop on the GOR was the 12 apostles, although apprently some have collapsed, I believe there are only about 8 now! No I don't think they'll change the name, but what happens when they're all gone?! You had to walk through an underpass to get to see the apostles, and to get to the best view it took about 10 mins. The flies were a nightmare, everyone around me was swatting away at ...
Geelong, Victoria, Australia davidn... known as a 'Troopy'. For now we will call it 'Thomas the Troopy'. We are both over the moon with Thomas and spent the rest of this day collecting up all the things we had looked at yesterday along with a few others. Ocean Grove, Victoria, Australia ronschusterThe people in Sydney told us that Victoria is the most European of the Australian States. Hmmmnnn... I think it actually feels much more like home than Syndey did. Maybe it's because we didn't stay in the City Center. Maybe it's because we once again had a two bedroom apartment rather than a tiny hotel suite. Maybe it's the size of the grocery stores... Yeah, I think that's it. And the roads, the shops, and having a ...
Geelong, VIC, Australia jon.tompkins... kid you not!), and this was probably our favourite. It borders an area called Toorak, which sounded a bit too much like Borat for me to take it too seriously, but it was undeniably a pretty cool area.

The man artery was Chapel Street, which had excellent shopping, alongside very nice restaurants, bars, bistros, delis, all that good stuff...
<br ...
Geelong, Australia al_fey... Norman Rockwell-esque whistle every time I pronounce an S sound. S(whistle)-hit! Prep the geriatric ward people! I'm sure adult diapers and Alzheimer's is on the horizon. Before the details totally fade to nothing in my sleepy, elderly brain-as that my memory sure ain't what it once was-I'd like to say that I had a great birthday. Amy, Jerrod and Ang joined me for dinner at a Balinese restaurant (I can't even pronounce the name, let alone ...
Melbourne, Australia chattermouth... that after enduring so many frozen Canadian winters that an Aussie winter would be laughable. At least back home we have this little thing called central heating; it appears that technology hasn't made its way down here yet. So when it gets cold, it stays cold, chilling your bones like steaks in the freezer. Laugh while you can, friends. Because I'll be home soon. Sooner than you think. Yes, I've decided to come home early, the ...
Melbourne, Australia chattermouth... Mr T) and the Aussies. Got chatting to some Irish girls at the bar, unfortunately for me they were about to get ejected for being too drunk - bugger! Stayed up for the Spurs v Villa game - unfortunate result in that one :-) and headed off to bed. Day 39 - The Cricket!...Myself and Nick in our drunken state the night before had decided it would be a fantastic idea to order room service at 9.30am. My god did ...
