... that it was a long weekend and everybody was here, so we stayed Saturday night in a Cracker Barrel shop car park. On Sunday, we went to the Cape Henlopen State Park (still in Delaware) and went to the beach for a couple of hours. We paid $33 for a campsite and spent the afternoon walking a lap of the park. ... My pictures are all from Lewes, where I stopped for a few hours in the late afternoon on the way from Dover, rather than Rehoboth. Lewes is a historic coastal town on the Delaware Bay side of Cape Henlopen, the Cape that faces Cape May, NJ on the other side of the entrance to Delaware Bay. Maybe it’s because the waves aren’t as big at the beaches on the bay or something, but Lewes doesn’t have the crowds of the Atlantic beach ...

... has 2. The 2nd being the Trump Taj Mahal hotel and Casino. Each take up many blocks and are extremely impressive .....however the one that took our eye was not one of his, but the latest to open in 2012.

10'x15'... the past 5 years, 2 bedrooms and 4 floors of our home is now crammed into a one cinder-block cell, the mail has been stopped (doubt I'll miss it) and tenants who will be kindly paying our mortgage for the next 12months are now moved in and we're officially "homeless".
Bethany Beach is where we'll be calling home for the next few weeks, until we jump out on the road at the end of July.

I could think of worse places to lay-low for awhile.
