... within a few miles of our campground were three good birding spots, one an audubon, one a nature conservancy preserve, and the third a state park. all were phoebe friendly. and randi and phoebe also went to the cape may lighthouse.
atlantic beach boardwalk is 5.5 miles long, needless to say the way we were feeling (by now, randi is getting the sinus infection) we walked maybe a mile, had lunch . rested and maybe walked a little more and than ...
... first flight was from SeaTac to Denver.....in a middle seat :o( That should tell you that not many folks were afraid to fly on Sept 11th. Next flight was into BWI in an aisle seat.....once again a sold-out flight.
Great being welcomed by Mom & Dad.....inside the airport! In the Kuehnl family new arrivals are normally welcomed curb-side,.....but I must be special :o)

Today was our last day at the beach...ahhh I will miss you Cape May! Spent another fun day at Sunset Beach today anndd happened to be there at the same time as a friend so we met up on the beach! =) Got some dinner at the Rusty Nail, which was delicious and saw some of the beautiful houses downtown. After that we went and saw a beautiful sunset and picked up a few last souvenirs from the shop on Sunset Beach.
Overall a wonderful vacation! ...
We went to the Cape May Zoo today and had BEAUTIFUL weather and saw lots of super cute animals! (Some of them I just want to cuddle and take home!) Lol =P We also went to eat in downtown Cape May anndd did some more shopping and checked out a couple art galleries, all of which I ...
Today we took a chilllll day and didn't even leave the house till 5pm hahaha it was amazing =P But then before dinner we went on a beautiful nature walk along northern Sunset Beach to the historic lighthouse and a bunker that were both active in World War II. Some really cool ...
