: For me Scotland and Croatia. In fact... if you only had a 6 week holiday, I'd be tempted to recommend just doing 3 weeks in each! Those with a romantic dream of Italy should just do Venice and Florence and then skip straight to Croatia. It's the happier, cheaper, more relaxing, more beautiful version of Italy (same food, all roman sights etc.)

No, still no power, but slightly better. We motored along for another hour or so, then at about 11am, problem # 3 struck, when the the aircon suddenly stopped working! Oh, we really thought we were going to die, now!!
