Well we finally packed up and set off for a couple days in Horricks with our beautiful family Rob Rach Charlie Maya & Cleo. We left Geraldton lunchtime on 24th January. Have had 2 lovely days so far. Charlie swimming to pontoon & jumping off.

We came upon some stunning valleys as we crested some of the hills covered in all different coloured greens and then a splash of yellow canola.
Stopped at Northhampton to give Jann a rest and wandered around the town. There are some very attractive old buildings here that appear to have been laboriously restored. They look great.

... on the beach, we drove into town for a quick look. They have done a great job doing up the foreshore for the people. They moved the old railway station, so that the area could be used more for the people. There is a town beach and looks onto the loading docks for the big ships, carting grain and iron ore.

Day 24 We arrived in Geraldton and set up camp, not much to see as it was cold and wet so we went to the local shopping centre, Troy found an Optus shop so he phoned the hot line and demanded a new HTC phone, well after a long winded argument he got what he wanted and we walked out 1 hour later with the new phone. We wandered around here for about an hour and a half. It was well worth the look. Along the way back, just after Trevor said "take the short cut through the grass" I nearly stepped on a snake. Luckily it was dead.
