After breakfast we headed off to the day boat. This motored on to pick up kayaks, continuing on to Cat Ba Island (the Pearl of Halong Bay). From here we rode push bikes for 6km to Viet Lai, a small village which today happened to be celebrating a wedding. We had a pit stop along the way, where we tasted the best Vietnamese coffee ever! A very strong espresso type coffee with sweet flavours infused into it, mixed with cane sugar and condensed milk! Yesssss that's the secret! We'll be making you guys some when we get back ! (Already planning our Southeast Asian tasting menu for you!!)
