I got all emotional...I didn't know I was such a good actor...Helen Mirren has nothing on me! The meal was absolutely lovely, and we tried something we have never even heard of...caper berries...Dave hated them, I loved them. We left a tip because we felt Amelia deserved one. Back at the hotel at 10.30, the door was already locked...thank goodness we remembered our ...

Went to the British Museum, which was only a 5 min cycle (brought to you by Barclays, the official sponsor of the London bike borrowing program thing). Thought the museum was strictly going to be British history (as it was the British museum, not the world museum). I was incorrect; it covered history over the millenia over all the continents. Basked in my disappointment ...

... 50mph…. The customs lady called us forward and asked me where the boot was on the car? I pointed at the suitcase which rather confused her so she asked me to take the case off the car and place it in the scanner and myself through the metal detector. Anne did not have to get out nor did the lady search the rest of the car, I guess all it proved was that the contents of the case and I were harmless, I think we have all known that for some time.
