In the evening we had a Subway and then to a few bars.. Kill Your Idol, Lost Weekend, Macs Club Deuce, Foxhole and then Purdy Lounge. We walked to all, the first 3 pretty close together and then a 10 minute walk or so between the others. It was a good crawl with some interesting places and generally affordable beer / rum and coke. Purdy Lounge was free entry but mostly played R&B and got a bit boring, we left ...

Still tired from lack of sleep on the previous night's flight, I decided to just have dinner at the hotel and have an early night. The restaurant Barok is popular with locals, and the meal was delicious. A friendly young couple from New York chatted away to me, in awe of my travel tales and admiring of my 'bravery' at travelling solo.

If I had a dollar for every time I'm told how 'brave' I am, I'd have enough to pay for another trip!

Was pretty stoked in the morning that I hadn't lost all my cards and phone. I did manage to lose my good sunnies though, but that's ...

... had not quite made herself known down south as yet and so we managed to follow her pretty much the entire way down from Tampa to Miami. Stopped in at Fort Lauderdale on the way down to hang out on a super yacht for the afternoon, as you do. One of Chris's friends, Pete, is a captain and their yacht happened to be docked here for a couple of weeks. Perfect timing, perfect company, we hung out on the yacht most of the afternoon watching Andrea do her thing whilst ...
