... awe for the sea and it's power. So the fact that I went in up to my neck was a huge deal for me. Helen spent most of the time laughing at me giggling gleefully like a child. Apparently I was very entertaining ;)
Yet again I was thankful she was there as I managed to get in a bit too deep for my liking and get a fair few waves smack in the face. Spluttering and gulping for air she led me back to the shore. What a wally I am. Still, it was a lot of fun!

... the following night. Saturday, I decided I would use and abuse the ****** hostel as much as I could before moving to the one I am currently in. So I checked out, but left my luggage in the bag room, ate about three portions of breakfast and of course, used the wifi. I then went for a walk around the beach, it's beautiful. Shortly after we got to our room, there was an announcement that the ship safety drill was starting soon. So we just hung out until the sirens sounded for the drill. This is an annoying aspect of cruising. Before we depart, they have to do a safety drill where every single passenger goes to an assigned "muster station" on the deck with the lifeboats. And they show us how to put on life vests. It seemed like ...
... baby back ribs for dinner with a salad. The ribs took 20mins to cook and turned out ok.
We spent some time tonight installing GoPro onto the bike so we can take some video of the amazing places we will see on this tri.
Paul has always wanted to do the Florida keys ride on the bike so today is our test for GoPro.
We're having a great time.
