So I have had my mother complaining at my lack of blogging! The wifi in this hostel is blummin awful so i am using that as my excuse.
Anyways, this morning, we woke up to the sound of something very familiar.. rain smacking the roof of the building! It was hammering down! We sat very depressed as we looked out at the weather all morning wondering what on earth we were gunna do with our day! Thankfully, by midday it had stopped and the sun was back out at ...
... Beach International Hostel is only two blocks from in the infamous Ocean Drive and did I ever misjudge my choice of hostels! It was a relentless express way of alcohol mixed with young'uns which could have easily been my children! There capacity to party seems to last 6 days straight and the 7th being a night off. Was I like this when I was their age? Not sure I can remember back that far! ;)

... captured what she sees as a resident of this vibrant city. Sure, I've got the lens, but if it weren't for her, I wouldn't have experienced such an amazing time through the eyes of a local.

Carnival Valor-Western Caribbean
Last night we stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites Cruise Port South. It was OK—pretty expensive for a Comfort Inn as its Spring Break in FL. Got our complimentary breakfast, loaded the car and headed out to buy water and last minute things such as sunscreen around 10am. Fortunately there was a Kmart by the hotel, so no problems getting what we needed.

Very quiet and studio was really comfy. The people at the desk were very friendly too.
