The park was very expensive place to stay at $62 dollars a night for a powered caravan site. It has a great position with direct access onto the beach and a great family park with heaps for the kids to keep them occupied.

... We had debated doing the bridge climb, but it cost over $200 and I wasn't sure I could even do it because of my fear of heights. We decided that the walk across probably had the same or similar views. We took our time walking across taking lots pictures and enjoying the view. We made our way back to the start of the bridge where there was a chance to go up into one of the bridges pylons for a view of the city and the bridge itself. It cost ...

As we cued we sized our luggage up compared to those around us and decided we were probably going to get hammered with charges for overweight baggage considering it was a domestic flight as in thailand. Luckily... No such problem occurred. The only issue we had was my doing... As I packed in such a hurry and just ...

Instead of riding the bus back to the hotel, Dave and I decided to walk off a few of the calories and so headed back through the beautiful ...

... on the spot the driver started calling around to get another two buses sent out to pick us all up. One bus would take the Rotorua area passengers and another would be an express for the rest of us going through to Wellington. A while after we were all informed of this plan we were then informed that we were officially stranded since no company had any buses to spare. They then hatched a plan to hire out all the taxi's in the area ...

... me of my travels when I eventually arrive home and not just photos! So, set off from good old Bromley nice and early on Friday 28th February to head to the Indian Visa Application Centre to collect my passport before heading straight to Heathrow with mum and dad to catch my flight in the evening! Nerves were starting to kick in on the tube to Heathrow as it was finally sinking in that I was going away for 6 months by myself! Had a little emotional ...
