Breaking Records

... We're now anchored by another beach a little way from the town itself, hoping fervently that we'll be able to leave tomorrow at low water (we're theoretically in a deep hole right now, but the channel back out gets alarmingly shallow in places). It's cloudy today, and cooller than yesterday, but the Spanish are evidently hardier than you'd expect - they're merrily swimming away in water that was cold enough ...

... as every time we turned a corner it turned with us so it was constantly right on our nose. However, the fog we ran into after two hours was the real problem. When we got to the train station the ticket prices had tripled. We checked at the bus station and they were the same. It's going to be ...

... the sun or eating. The white walls are all covered in climbing roses, the gardens were immaculate and large, the ocean is crystal clear and inviting (until you touch the 12 degree water), and the whole town feels happy.
We walked until we found a little cafe serving coffee.... Now was the time to try our words. We said what we thought meant "we would like two black coffees please, no milk", and out came two black coffees with no milk... Win! They were the smallest coffees ...
