    ... It would appear that your position on the road is directly proportional to the amount of capital expended on said motor vehicle.     We left Plovdiv for a long day on the bus to the city of Nesebar on the Black Sea. After a two hour drive we arrived in Stefan's hometown of Kazanlak in the Valley of the Roses. Here they manufacture 90% of the world's rose oil. The roses were done blooming, but we passed FIELDS of sunflowers and lavender. Gorgeous!! Also a couple of wagons pulled by horses with pom poms.     ... to the museum I take to wandering the streets. I pass by the old roman thermal baths and make my way to the beach. It's covered in rows of umbrellas and to my dismay the beach is one giant ashtray. With the majority of Bulgarians smoking they just dispose of their butts everywhere.
