Today we arrived in the Greek Island of Corfu. It was quite rocky over night and when we arrived in Corfu it was rainy and overcast. Today's tour included the highlights of Corfu and wine tasting. We went to the monastery of the Virgin Mary first. I must admit there were a few times I said a few prayers when I could look out the bus straight down the cliff. I just hoped the driver had done this before as they don't leave any room for error. Finally limped into Kerkira, wondering if the flat tyre would cost us, but the office was closed (first time I've ever been grateful for the lunch hour shut down!) so we posted the keys in the door and scampered! Well, they did say it was fully insured! Back at the terminal, we were also grateful for free wifi so sat there a bit - I ...

loves ancient ruins but for it to be a fort - well!!!!! We visited the museum attached to the fort and then I told Steve I would find a comfy spot andYesterday we arrived in Corfu, it was very hot and we took the shuttle bus into the old part of town and the fort area. Steve was in seventh heaven - he he could explore to his hearts content. He will write the following about it. The fort sits on a hilled peninsula at the end of the town and ...
