... English.We were soon settled in a lovely room with views half way to the moon! Guy sussed out strong Chilean connection of gorgeous owner (photos on wall, books on table in lounge etc) and spent pleasant half hour or so in Chilean repartee with Inigo O'Shea Prats (how's that for name!). He is Spanish but has spent considerable time in Chile - he almost built his hotel there but decided on this beautiful mountain in Spain because weather was better all year ...

We had lunch in a restaurant called the Soul Kitchen. We got
their just before the Spanish 2pm lunchtime rush and had menu del dia. It was
delicious. The sign outside the restaurant declared they were against all war

... and finished a bit after midnight. I love how they sit around and talk here in Spain for hours upon hours. I learned the word for this - sobremesa (over the table). Relationships are really nurtured this way.
