The official opening is in 8 days, but all of the painting was done, equipment in place, and for the most part, ready to go! I was quite impressed seeing ...

... 8220;piñata” of sweets, provided by the lodge staff, bringing the curtain down with a nice touch, leaving just enough time to take the final shower of the week and start packing cases for Fridays´ journey home to Valencia. Friday morning, was unique in that children could not be found slowly tossing an arm Tai-Chi-style in the air, nor moving to the aerobic beat of Mr. Barnes' hugely vast music collection. It was, instead a frantic case-packing hour between ...

Well, as I sit and write this latest entry, you can almost hear a pin drop inside the Gredos Centre Lodge. It's quiet time, and I dont think anyone will argue with 30 minutes to rest the legs that have wandered and roamed the sleepy hills this morning around Valdeascas.

It was the second nature trail in as many days and it encompassed some glorious waterfalls, rivers and rocky paths that took us in total around 5 kilometres. Plenty of time was included ...
