... and get a bit of shopping done. Corona singlets, sugar skulls and of course Mexican wrestling masks were all our the shopping list. We headed down the beach for some chills in the arvo before heading back to Monkey Business for dinner. Although we both had travel to do the next day we decided we couldn't let our last night together for a while go without a party so we headed to Señor Frogs for the paint party. ... bingo again and Pam & I decided to go in together on our cards so our odds would be better at winning, and it worked! My side of the card bingoed and we won about $545, but 3 other people also won at the same time, so we had to split the pot 4 ways. We still netted $130, which we split and figured it covered our playing the whole trip...so much fun!!

... close to “La Zona Arqueologica del Rey” which is a museum containing Maya´s findings in the area. We didn´t go in because we wanted to see a lot of ruins later so were sure that we were going to have a lot of time for this kind of activities and headed to the beach instead. ... 9 in the morning! After much to-ing and fro-ing about how I would get to Belize I decided to head to the airport and collect my bag. There I could enquire about flights to Belize city and if fully booked I could instead book a seat on the night bus. I spent the morning hopping from one terminal to the next, first to speak to the UA officials about my bag which they confirmed would be arriving at midday. ... us to the main local supermarket where we stocked up on snacks, water and fruit but when we came out we got stuck in a torrential rain. We ended up walking a different way back to get the bus and passed through more of the back streets, there seemed more evidence of life there but most of the shops were still closed (probably because it is low season).
