... rest of the show was good but not as good as seeing Jon being a monkey. They brought out various snakes and birds before the main event the croc! It swam down the mock river as the keeper waved a lump of meat above the surface... at lightening speed the croc struck and grabbed it's meal. Next the keeper climbed onto a platform above the water a dangled another chunk over the edge. The croc leapt up out of the water, snapping ...
Caloundra, Queensland, Australia yelleandjon... Bagara berries for lunch. It had been recommended to us by the tourist information centre. It was a strawberry picking farm which had a cafe attached and all of the dishes contained berries. We went for puddings and Ben had strawberry and maple pancakes and Emma had 2 strawberry scones! We then went into Bagara itself which is a pretty little town by the sea and also the gateway to the reef. We went on a 12km walk through the National Marine Park which was ...
Caloundra, Queensland, Australia benandem24... zoo and we saw everything on offer over the space of 6 hours there including; elephant feeding, kangaroo feeding, tiger play time and of course the Crocoseum where they put on the crocodile feeding shows. All spent from the zoo we headed back to the campsite at Caloundra and spent the night there. Didn't sleep too well though as the weather has been pretty **** here for the last week and the heavy rain on the roof of the van was very loud!<br>
Caloundra, Queensland, Australia alandrach... I then successfuly queued up for the elephant feeding which was over in a flash but fun nevertheless! I also caught a fox feeding session as well as another croc presentation, this time in the ennvironmental part of the zoo. I then had to get back to my stuff as I had a free bus booked to Noosa. On the way back they played the Steve Irwin tribute dvd. Interesting. Im staying at the YHA at Noosa Heads. Its alright, ive got chatting to my ...
Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia wollifer... lamazegguh'! .. nou NEE! The oppposite seemed true! Twee kloot violen ten TOP!

Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia jennyreid... 35 cars and tons of people. Well never a dull moment with us... Half way thru the ride the whole boat shakes back and forth about 5 times like an earth quake. Bunch of stuff fell over and broke inside the boat and it was actually a weird scary moment cause this huge ferry and the huge prop and propeller just hit something massive. Laurie ran to the back of the boat, I ran to the front. Typical haha... All of us split up and no one knew what happened. All ...
Moreton Island, Queensland, Australia carrera2uToday was a fantastic day and one Ellen has been waiting for. We headed off to the beach on the Sunshine Coast in Caloundra called 'Kings Beach'. It was beautiful, the weather was perfect and we had a relaxing fun day. Ellen spent her time collecting shells, jumping over the waves, making a sandcastle and making sand angles ! She was excited and happy all day. I had a paddle in the sea ...
Caloundra, Queensland, Australia manicmaiden2000we arrived to avoca beach and had a great visit with our friends frank, grace and carmel. they pampered us and we enjoyed it immensely. they took us to the beach near by as well. they are such water babies! they gave us some good ideas on where to go. we left there with the intention of driving quickly north to the great barrier reef, dive or snorkel and then head south ...
Caloundra, Australia ireneandjason... all over and it was interesting to see the Christmas decorations and sales, since to me it doesn't feel at all like Christmas- it's much too warm and getting warmer. I realized that my flat sandals are a little too flat for my arch-impaired flat feet so I may be investing in some sandals with better support. On Saturday visited the museum center which had art and the science center all within close walking ...
